Amanda Greenslade

Amanda Greenslade is a fantasy novelist who writes for entertainment, enlightenment and escapism. She presents worlds where heroes are fallible, women are empowered and humankind must learn to co-exist with other creatures in order to survive.

Amanda completed a Bachelor of Communication majoring in writing and screen production at Griffith University in 2003. Although her focus is on novel-writing, Amanda is a multi-skilled communicator and designer, with knowledge and experience in writing, copyediting, web design, graphic design and limited video production and editing. The reason she pursues so many different forms of expression is because of her fascination with technology and an understanding of the need for creators to breach boundaries if their work is to remain relevant.

With a strong interest in cross-media platforms like the internet, games and DVDs, Amanda has experience writing for the web and developing treatments, scripts and screenplays. Amanda is the Multimedia Manager for a non-profit organization. In her spare time she works on her own writing, reads sci-fi & fantasy and builds websites (including The Specusphere).
